Alright I’ll get to it. Kanye West, under public scrutiny for disapproving Taylor’s win at the VMA’s, had a challenge. To create a comeback nearly unseen in music history. And he failed in some regard. He created a comeback absolutely unseen in music history. Hands down one of the greatest albums of the 2010s and one of the greatest albums of all time, Kanye West delivered my beautiful dark twisted fantasy. A genre-changing album that influenced all artists that followed him and came before him. Unironically the album begins with the lyric “Can we get much higher?” but the truth is he never did. That was peak Kanye West, the symbol of his comeback and eternality. The official induction of soon to be the richest black man in America into the Music Hall of Fame. Proud of you Kanye West. And so so grateful for your presence. So will future generations of musicians and children alike.
